The announcement by the Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) chairman, Mr Samuel Kivuitu that the youth between 18-40 years comprise 60.8 per cent of all registered voters and the rest of the voters at 39.2 per cent may have demonstrated the crucial role the youth will play in determining the winner in this year's election.
