The UK government has presented new Regulations to Parliament today, banning gambling advertising from companies operating outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The move, which has been made possible using new powers under the Gambling Act 2005, means that many popular gaming sites will not be able to advertise in the UK from September 1st 2007, when the Gambling Act comes into force.
